Okay, so today I wanna talk about how I got this perfect Fendi Spy bag. It’s been a journey, let me tell you!
First off, I started looking around online. I checked out a bunch of different places that sell used stuff, like that RealReal site. They said they check everything to make sure it’s real, which is cool. But I wanted to see things in person, you know? Touch them, feel them.
So, I hit up Google and found out there are about 12 Fendi stores in the UK. But I also heard they closed their store in India, bummer. Apparently, some other fancy stores closed down too during the pandemic. Makes sense, things were tough.
Hitting the Streets in Florence
Since I’m in Florence right now, I figured I’d check out the local scene. I searched for “Fendi Bags for sale in Florence” and found a bunch of places, not just Fendi stores. A lot of them were consignment shops. I mean, who doesn’t love a good bargain, right?
I made a list of the top-rated consignment shops from Yelp: Florence Consignment Corner, Salvage Antiques Vintage Etc, The Flipping Peddler. These places seemed promising, full of hidden treasures. I’ve always loved the thrill of the hunt.
- Florence Consignment Corner: This place was packed with all sorts of stuff. Clothes, bags, you name it.
- Salvage Antiques Vintage Etc: More than just bags here, they had some really cool old furniture too.
- The Flipping Peddler: Smaller than the others, but they had a really curated selection.
The Real Deal in Florence, CO
Then I thought, why not check out Florence, Colorado too? I mean, why not, right? I found some cool spots there as well: Mezzanine, Twin Creek Trading, The Artful Antiquarium. These places were more like antique malls, with a bit of everything.
- Mezzanine: This one had a nice mix of vintage and newer items.
- Twin Creek Trading: Lots of western-themed stuff, which was kinda cool.
- The Artful Antiquarium: As the name suggests, they had some really unique, artsy items.
Scoring the Spy Bag
After digging around, I finally found it. A gorgeous, limited edition Fendi Spy bag. And get this, it was in excellent condition! Just some minor wear on the handles, nothing major. It has that classic double F logo lining too. I snagged it for a decent price too, definitely way less than a new one.
So yeah, that’s my story of finding the perfect Fendi Spy bag. It took some effort, but it was totally worth it. Sometimes, you just gotta put in the work to find those hidden gems!
