This Fendi bag, what a thing! I saw it on that fancy official flagship store, you know, the one on the internet. They call it “Calf Hair Mama Bag Baguette Brown Bag”. What a mouthful!
They say it’s perfect, a perfect copy. Well, I don’t know about perfect. But it sure looks like those expensive ones. Made from calf hair, they say. Feels kinda soft, like my old neighbor’s cat, but probably cost more than that whole darn cat!
This bag, it’s brown. A good, solid brown, like the dirt in my garden. Not too flashy, but still kinda pretty, you know? It’s got a flap that goes over the top, like a little roof for your stuff. And a strap, a leather one. To hang it on your shoulder, I guess. Or maybe you carry it in your hand, like those fancy ladies in the magazines.
- This bag, it’s a Fendi. That’s a big name, I hear.
- Brown calf hair, that’s what they call it. Sounds fancy, don’t it?

Now, I saw some other bags they called “Fendi Mamma Baguette“. Looked a bit like this one, but maybe different colors. Some black, some tan, some with all sorts of patterns. This brown one, though, it’s my favorite. Simple and good. Like a good pair of shoes, you know? They last a long time.
They say this one’s a “copy“. I guess that means it’s not the real, real thing. But it looks real close, you know? Close enough for me, anyway. I ain’t got the money for those real expensive ones. But this one, maybe I can save up for it. It would be nice to have a fancy bag, just once.
This bag’s got some shiny things on it, too. Silver, they call it. On the strap, where it connects to the bag. Looks kinda like those buckles on my old grandpa’s belt. But shinier. And probably cost a lot more than that old belt, too!
Inside, they say it’s lined with some kind of fabric. Matching color, they say. And a little pocket with a zipper. Good for keeping your money safe, or maybe a little mirror, so you can check your hair. Not that I do that much anymore. My hair’s all gray now, anyway.

Some folks, they say this bag is “vintage”. That means old, I think. But this one, it looks new to me. Maybe they just call it that to make it sound fancy. Like those old dishes my grandma used to have. They weren’t worth much, but she called them “antiques”.
This Fendi Calf Hair Mama Bag Baguette Brown Bag, it’s a dream, ain’t it? Maybe one day, I’ll have one. Or maybe not. But a girl can dream, can’t she? It’s a good dream, a brown, calf-hair kind of dream. And that’s good enough for me.
They say it is crafted by a patch work of different colored pony calf hair, but I think that is too complicated. This brown one is simple and good. That’s what I need.
This Fendi Mamma Baguette is rare, they say on that official flagship store. I don’t know what that means. Maybe it means not many people can buy it. I guess that makes it even more special. If you like brown, this is the one, simple and good.
And this brown, it’s like the color of my old boots. Good, strong boots. They lasted me years. Maybe this bag will last a long time, too. If I ever get one, that is. I hope it is a good one. A good, brown, Fendi bag.
