Alright, so I wanted to get my hands on a new watch, and not just any watch, but the OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch, the one with the transparent case back. Yeah, you heard that right. This thing’s a beauty.
I started by hitting up the usual spots online, you know, just browsing around to see what was out there. I stumbled upon a few places, checked out their prices, but nothing really clicked. One place had it for like $12,900, plus 80 bucks for shipping. Another place was advertising 10% off, which sounded good, but it was still a bit much.
Then I dug a little deeper. I looked at some shops that deal in pre-owned watches. I mean, a used one could save me some cash, right? There were deals, for sure, but I was hesitant. I wanted a brand new one, straight out of the box.
