Okay, so, I’ve been eyeing this OMEGA Ω Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch Sapphire – Cal.3861 for a while now. You know, the classic Moonwatch, but with that fancy sapphire crystal. And I wanted the real deal, not some knock-off.
First, I hit up all the usual online spots where you might find watches. I looked through a ton of images to try to make sure I was looking at the real thing. I was trying to find the version with the updated Caliber 3861 movement. Not super easy to spot the differences, but I think I got the hang of it after staring at enough pictures.
Then I figured out how to tell the original order ones from the others. The difference is the original ones usually come with a special box and some extra goodies, which was something I really wanted, you know, for the full experience.

After a lot of back and forth, I decided to go for it. Made the payment, and then came the waiting game. Man, that was nerve-wracking. I kept checking the tracking info like every five minutes. I even converted the tracking number just to be safe. I didn’t want any surprises in shipping.
Finally, it arrived! I was so excited, I practically ripped the box open. And there it was, the OMEGA Ω Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch, with the sapphire crystal and the Cal.3861 movement, looking all shiny and new. It even came with the original order box and all the accessories, just like I wanted.
I’ve been wearing it for a few weeks now, and I gotta say, I’m super happy with it. It feels great on my wrist, and it’s just a really cool watch. And yeah, I’m pretty sure it’s the real deal, which makes it even better. It was totally worth all the effort. You know, it is not easy to get what you really want. But at last, I made it!
