So, I’ve been eyeballin’ this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch Sapphire, right? From their official flagship store, no less. Sounds fancy, huh? Well, let me tell ya, it’s been a whole process.
First off, I started by diggin’ around about these Speedmaster watches. Heard they’re a big deal, especially the older ones with some kinda special crystal. Apparently, the new ones mostly use this sapphire thingy. Whatever that means.
Start with some lookin’
-
First, I spent hours comparing pictures online. I mean, I stared at these things until my eyes went buggy. Lookin’ at the dial, the layout, the little numbers and lines.
-
Then I went lookin for serial numbers and hallmarks, whatever those are. I checked them, re-checked them, and checked them again. Drove my wife nuts, always askin’ her, “Does this look right to you, honey?”
-
After that, I really got into feelin’ the finish. I tried to imagine how it would feel on my wrist. Smooth, I hoped. Not like that cheap watch I got at the fair last year.
Make sure it’s legit
Now, how did I make sure this fancy watch was the real deal and not some cheap knock-off? The guy at the store told me all watches from their official store are legit. It comes with a warranty card with all these numbers and a serial number – sounds important, right?
So there I was, in the official store, checkin’ out this Moonwatch. It looked good, felt good, and had all the right numbers. I even compared it to some pictures I had on my phone. Felt like a real detective, I did.
Finally, I pulled the trigger
After all that, I decided to go for it. Bought the watch, right there in the store. It was a bit of a splurge, but hey, you only live once, right? And now, I’m the proud owner of a CopyOMEGA Speedmaster. Still not entirely sure what all the fuss is about, but it sure does look nice on my wrist.
So, that’s my story of gettin’ this CopyOMEGA watch. It was quite the adventure, let me tell ya. But hey, at least I got a cool watch out of it. And maybe, just maybe, I’ll even figure out what all those little dials do someday.
